Light green-yellow, apple compote on the nose, juicy yellow apricots, herbal spices that remind me of rocket and dandelion, and Karlsbader wafers very delicately. There is definitely something nutty, toasted, reminiscent of hazelnuts, but no trace of flavorful use of wood. Chalky minerality with notes of lemon peel and delicate orange blossom give the wine another dimension and are intensified by increasing exposure to air.
