Description

F.I.O. stands for four-in-one, a reference to the four vineyards that are blended to make this Wachau Grüner Veltliner and it also happens to be the name of the family dog. The vines are ten to 30 years-old and come from the right bank of the Danube with mainly sandy loess soils.

It’s tremendous to find such an exciting winery that has remained relatively unknown. The wines have a great complexity and a purity of terroir, emphasizing elegance over power.
